Sono stati tre giorni di grande musica quelli del Giovinazzo Rock Festival 2009, che ha visto esibirsi sul palco Linea 77, Marlene Kuntz, Bandabardò, Calibro 35 e tante altre band emergenti. La seconda serata ha visto come protagonista il gruppo di Cuneo ormai in attività dal 1987, anno in cui i Marlene Kuntz nacquero, che propongono durante questo tour in giro per l'Italia pezzi tratti dall'ultimo disco pubblicato o per meglio dire, una raccolta dei brani che hanno segnato la carriera musicale dei Marlene Kuntz. Il concerto ha inizio con il brano "e poi il buio" dell'album "Che cosa vedi", rock puro per gli oltre 5000 persone presenti presso l'area mercatale di Giovinazzo. Cristiano Godano supportato da Riccardo Tesio (chitarra), Luca Bergia (batteria), Luca Saporiti (basso) e Davide Arneodo (tastiere e violino), recita quelle che sono vere e proprie poesie accompagnate da melodie che le rendono uniche e coinvolgenti. Poi è stata l'ora di "festa mesta", "sonica" e "nuotando nell'aria", brani storici che hanno mandato in estasi la folla, portata indietro di qualche anno quando i Marlene erano noise. L'omaggio alla PFM con "impressioni di settembre" è stato più che emozionante con i riff di chitarra e tastiera che si intrecciavano dando vita ad uno dei capolavori della musica italiana e non. Il concerto sembra arrivato al termine con il brano "grazie", giusto ringraziamento degli M.K. ai loro fans che continuano da anni ad amarli come fosse il primo amore. Cristiano e il resto della band si prende qualche istante di pausa per poi risalire sul palco e finire in bellezza il concerto con "cara è la fine" anch'esso tratto dal terzo album del 2000. Un inedito Godano si è visto a fine concerto quando si è prestato ai media per qualche intervista e ai fans per firmare autografi e perchè no scambiare qualche chiacchiera in compagnia di una birra fresca.
